Ingredients of Chicken Malaie Boti
- It's 3 medium of onions finely chopped.
- You need 1 1/2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- It's 4 medium of tomato chopped.
- It's 1 large of fresh lemon.
- Prepare 1 kg of chicken.
- You need 1 small of cream.
- You need 6 tbsp of malaie boti masala (spice).
- It's 3 medium of Green Chillies.
- It's 2 tsp of vinegar.
- You need 2 tbsp of soy sauce.
- It's 1 cup of cooking oil.
Chicken Malaie Boti step by step
- Deep fry onion, add garlic ginger paste and tomatoes. Add green chillies. Keep stirring until golden brown and perfectly mixed.
- Add chicken and 1.5 glass of water so the chicken gets soft..
- keep it at medium heat for about 10-15 minutes. Check if the chicken is soft. Now add Malaie boti spice. You can use individual spices (ground red pepper.salt. coriander etc) but it is better if you get a pack of malaie boti spice from any Asian cash n carry. Add lemon juice, soy sauce and vinegar . keep stirring and leave for 5 minutes.
- Add cream. Keep stirring. Please note don't add too much cream as it will sweeten the dish. Just add enough so it looks like thick gravy. Taste it and add more spice if desired..
